From gamers, and from around the web with the source linked.
A week in after a Lamzu Thorn, the X3 Superstrike turned out better than feared: they like the adjustable clicks and feel the gain in fast clicking in Minecraft PvP; side buttons are fine but the skates are poor.
“I really like the clicks and the fact that you can modify the feel. I play minecraft pvp, and i can tell i can feel an upgrade on fast clicks, i can elaborate why if you ask me.”
Returned the Stealth Pro 2 within days, mostly due to horrific software that repeatedly failed to connect to the headset.
After a month with the Kithara on an AE-9 sound card, they love the sound; comfort is fine with a Capra strap.
“I was using H6 and now bought Kithara. I have been using it for over a month and I do love the sound.”
The left sticks on both their Apex 5s, like their four Apex 4s, become grindy when rotated toward the top left; they love the controllers but want better QC.
“My top left Apex 4 (four of them) and Apex 5 (two) sticks have ALWAYS become grindy/unsmooth when I rotate it top left (like NW/10:30 o'clock).”
Rates the Kithara 10/10 for sound, 7/10 comfort and 4/10 for the mic; fine from a PS5 controller but poor on a Realtek motherboard.
“Kithara - Sound Quality 10/10 | Mic Quality 4/10 | Comfort 7/10.”
Across seven Apex 5 and Vader 5 units, every one arrived with or developed stick problems within a month or two, from squeaking to grinding, which Flydigi called within tolerance.
“I've had 7 of Flydigi's recent controllers between the Apex 5 and Vader 5. Every single one of them either arrived with or developed issues with the joysticks within a month or 2 of use”
Their Vader 5 Pro stopped working with their computer because of Space Station software problems.
“My Vader 5 Pro is now not working with my computer because of some stupid Space Station shit.”
Returned the X2 Superstrike over its weight balance, but the X3 felt like home right away: balance is much better, there are no accidental misclicks, and the fast clicks and rapid trigger make CS2 tapping easier with a relaxed grip. Calls it way too expensive but worth it to them.
“The weight balance is significantly better, and for whatever reason, I’m no longer getting accidental misclicks even on actuation point 2.”
Their first audiophile gear, the Kithara with a K7 DAC sounds really good with AutoEQ, but the cable tangles.

“Maya X mouse is the best mouse I've ever used.”

“Very similar, almost identical feeling tbf, which is great as the Vader 5 was always the best feeling controller in hands for me!”
Uses the Vader 5 Pro for single-player RPGs and returned a G7 Pro 8K because the Vader's versatility and better D-pad mattered more than its supposedly weaker sticks.
“I do use it for my singleplayer rpg games tho lol. I returned my g7 pro 8k cause the versatility and better dpad was just more worthwhile even if it has "worse" sticks.”
Owns the X2 Superstrike and doesn't find it great; real clicks feel more consistent to them than its very low actuation.
“I have the first superstrike and honestly man its not that great. Most professional players and also me (a layman) find way more consistency in having real clicks.”
Bought the X3 Superstrike and finds the haptic click tech cool and faster, but not worth the price.
“I have the GPX 1 too and bought x3 superstrike for the price of it I don't think it is worth it, the HITS technology is cool though reduces click latency”
The EC2-DW's build quality is superb, with no creaking or flex compared to their Glorious Model D; the stiffer switches take getting used to, and the dock is a nice touch.
“i actually went with a ec2 dw 4k and the build quality speaks for itself.”
The Rival Pro's shape surprised them, and the coating and skates are nice too, worth it at €120.
“Got the Rival pro, i didn't think I'd like it, but the shape was actually quite nice”

Their Maya X keeps developing scroll issues and has gone back to the shop repeatedly.
With 18cm hands and a claw grip, the Sensei Pro Mini's shape never felt right for them, but the clicks are responsive, build is solid with no creaking, and tracking and wireless have been consistent.
“Been using the Sensei Pro Mini for a little while now and I have some mixed feelings about it.”
Found the Astro A50 X horrible for positional accuracy compared with a BlackShark V3.
“switched to the astro a50x and in my opinion they r horrible for positional accuracy when I compared them to the black shark v3 that I tried”
Quality control was horrible: they returned three units, and a repair through Audeze took over a month after the wrong part was ordered, so they gave up on it.
“I was also recommended the Maxwell 2's, but unfortunately Thier quality control was horrible.”

The perfect shape, buttons and weight after hundreds of mice, but the battery lasts only two to three days.
“After trying out 100's of mouse, this is literally the perfect mouse.”

Found its D-pad placement really comfortable.
“I found the razer raiju v3 pro to have a really comfortable dpad placement”
The most all-in-one of their seven controllers, with a solid D-pad; a relief after Xbox stick drift.
“I have both vader 4 and 5 pro. The Dpad is solid on both.”
Really likes it and isn't bothered by the D-pad complaints.
“I really like the cyclone 2.”
Likes the feel with no issues apart from the stick rubber wearing off.
“Ive been using an xbox controller (one 2019 and series 2022). I like the feel when playing and i havnet had any issue aside from replacing the sticks because the rubber worn off.”

“The only mouse that has lasted is my trusty G305.”

“the viper v4 pro (very briefly and I didn't test it properly in an aimtrainer, but to me it felt a bit too big, didn't like that the front flares out )”
HITS is a game changer, though they don't love the G Pro shape.
“After trying this mouse I will never be satisfied with mechanical clicks again, HITS is a gamechanger for me”
Great for big hands but held back by its buttons and D-pad.

The battery swelled within a year.
“I have a cyclone 2 and the battery puffs up within a year.”
Bad skates, side buttons and value and a buggy scroll wheel; only the HITS clicks impress, so not worth the price.
“Skates are bad Side buttons are bad Scroll wheel still bugging Cost/value is bad But it has HITS though!!!”
The board died after three years, the scroll wheel failed before that and the side buttons were horrible.
“my 1st gen superlight's board shit the bed 3 years into ownership. Plus the scroll wheel that stopped working 6 months before that and the horrible side buttons.”

Maybe the best mouse they have owned, with better software than Synapse.
“Just picked one up and it's maybe the best mouse I've ever owned and I have a LOT.”
Hesitant to leave brown switches but loving it: firm enough to avoid typos, buttery feel, easy to remap.
“I really liked my brown switches so I was hesitant at first but I am loving this new keyboard.”

“The Razer Huntsman HE Magnetic 8KHZ built quality was decent.”
Has the best sidetone of any wireless headset they've used.
“Audeze Maxwell 2 has the best I’ve used.”
Excellent sidetone, though build and audio quality feel a little budget.
“Steelseries Nova 5 is also excellent, although a little on the budget side when it comes to build and audio quality.”
Very good sound and mic with decent battery; the software bugs out sometimes and clamp force eased after a few weeks.
“Black shark v3 non pro. The software isn’t the greatest and it bugs out sometimes. But the sound is p damn good, battery life is decent, and the mic is also very good.”
Keeps coming back to it after trying most wireless headsets: comfortable, sturdy chassis, great mic and great sound with tweaking.
“X3 is comfortable, has a great mic and with tweaking great sounding audio.”
Lightweight and comfortable but not worth $400: flimsy mic, all-plastic build, easily scratched DAC screen.
“For me, the Omnis were good but at $399.99, I dont think they are better even with the high res audio. My issue is mic quality and build quality.”
After 3–4 years they really like the hot-swap batteries and dock, but it's huge and heavy on a small head and the mic is awful.
“I've already got the Nova Pro wireless and I do honestly really like them. BUT, theyre huge and kinda heavy.”
Kept it over the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 for casual PC and iPhone gaming: reliable connection, and the clicky mechanical buttons grew on them.

“I had both and keept the X3, i dont like both shapes but the Logitech shape is fine for me, the click system is the best in the market.”
Sold it for the Viper V4 Pro: mushy side buttons, mechanical wheel and G Hub.

A 20-year CS player calls it the best mouse ever made.
“bought X2 on release date. Is, without any doubts the best mouse done until today”
With 20.5 x 11 cm hands and a claw/palm hybrid grip, it's too small and the shape doesn't suit them.
“GPX 2 Superlight: Too small for me, and the shape doesn't work well for me.”
Trying both, a user is keeping a SteelSeries mouse over the X3 Superstrike, which feels heavier to move.
“The x3 just being a few grams more feels way heavier to move.”
A League player new to wireless found the Viper V3 Pro literally perfect after a week, with no latency worries for heavy clicking.
“I play League of Legends and bought the Viper V3 Pro a week ago. I never used wireless before and felt a bit icky about the latency”
Rates their previous Viper V4 Pro's side buttons 10/10.
“the side buttons are a 8/10 i think, comparing to my previous mouse the razer viper v4 pro which had 10/10 sise buttons imo.”
Their X2 Superstrike's side buttons needed a huge amount of pre-travel, and it felt front heavy compared with the X3.
“i found that the side buttons were greatly improved from x2 to x3. either that or my x2 was faulty because the buttons needed a huuuge amount of pre travel.”
Comparing for gaming, they found the ROG Kithara far better than their Sony XM3 and recommend it at about $300.

They love their first-generation Superlight so much they're reluctant to replace it.

The coating on their Superlight 2 DEX started peeling.

“I tried the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and it has **white noise while you’re not playing anything**.”
Two units both crackled and hissed at low volume, and the soft pads clamped their ears uncomfortably.
“I tried 2 Nova Pro Omnis and they both have the same **crackling and hissing** while playing something at low volume while ANC is off.”
Two weeks in: really comfortable, long battery life and good sound.
“I use the arctic nova 7 gen 2 since 2 weeks, they are really comfortable, long lasting battery and good sound quality”

Their Wolverine V3 Pro 8K shows high, wildly fluctuating latency (2-70 ms) in a wired browser test, unlike their GameSir controller on the same setup.
Used the G7 Pro for most of the year; it developed a centering issue after a short time, so they tried a Vader 5S. That went badly, and they are switching back because the G7 Pro is still the best controller they have used.
“Reason being I wanted a change was because the g7 hasncentering issue itself after a short amount of playtime but it's still the best controller I've used so I think I'm switching back.”
With roughly 19x10 cm hands, the Superlight 2 DEX shape is their favourite for comfort.
“Logitech Superlight Dex shape is my favorite for comfort.”
Trying the Superlight 2c with 18x8 cm hands and a palm grip, it wouldn't stay in their hand, causing strain and numbness.
“A month ago, I tried the GPX 2C, which simply couldn’t stay in my hand, leading to excessive strain and numbness.”

“I just bought the elites a couple weeks ago coming up from the Nova pro wireless. I think they are better in every way, very noticeable upgrade.”
Good sound and mic, breathable fabric pads and great simultaneous Bluetooth, but weak ANC and a clunky dongle-plus-cable.
“I owned razer blackshark v3 pro it sounds good mic quality is good too however anc isn’t much since it uses fabric pads”
Much better than the V3 Pro thanks to lower stick latency and smoother sticks.
“I have the V4 Pro myself and it is a way better controller than the v3 pro because of stick latency”
Their most comfortable and most-used controller, but it has the worst triggers so they skip it for shooters.
“Ultimate 3E is the most comfortable to me so I use it the most, but it also has the worst triggers and I never use for shooters.”
Loves its smooth sticks, though it lacks proper trigger stops.
“I have the Apex 5 and love it though. Something about the Apex sticks just feel so smooth compared to other controllers.”

They find the Viper V4 Pro's FrameSync feature remarkably smooth, wired or wireless, and say it is the first mouse that makes dragging a window feel real compared with their previous sensors.
A user who returned the X2 over weight balance finds the X3 balance great, but its haptics much weaker.
“Weight balance is great, the haptic feedback is very weak compared to x2”
Their only complaint with the X2 Superstrike was its front-heavy weight.
“My only complaint was the weight in the front on the x2, hopefully this feels better”
Gaming in the same room, they and their partner both use the G PRO X 2 Lightspeed, but its mic doesn't filter out each other's voices so they hear one another twice on Discord.

After almost three years with the Lamzu Thorn they're very satisfied with its performance and build quality, but it has always felt a bit too big for their claw grip.

After trying many headsets, this is the one they settled on for Xbox.
“I have now found my headset I am on my xbox series x steelseries arctic nova pro wireless omni midnight blue”
Excellent sound, but gets a little warm, the pads may wear quickly and PC shows many confusing outputs.
“sound quality is excellent. headset can get a little warm, and i dont think the pads will last very long but lucky they are easily replaceable.”
Sounded god tier with a small EQ tweak, but returned them because of the weight and the mic.
“with a small +2db adjustment on 2800 and 1800 khz it sounded god tier, but had to return them becasue my triangled ass head couldnt support the weight”
Totally worth it at a $100 discount.
“Only the A50Xs are worthy if you can get them on discount, I got $100 on discount, they are totally worth it.”
Their favourite controller and worth $80 for the precision and premium feel.
“My favorite controller is the Flydigi Vader 5 Pro, which is pricier at $80, but I think it's worth it for the precision and premium feel.”
Works with the dongle on a Mac mini for GeForce Now: noticeably faster, Forza plays amazingly, and the sticks feel amazing.
“I went ahead and got the G7 Pro 8k. It works with the dongle and it's noticeably faster than the Stadia controller.”
One of their all-time favourites after trying almost every controller.
“G7 pro is one of my favorite controllers of all time. And I swear I've tried mostly all of them .”
