An owner finds the G522 good with a good mic, but it got stuck looping between USB and Lightspeed modes, an issue Logitech hasn't fixed.
“The G522 is a good headset with a good mic. But there is one issue that you might face down the line which I'm currently experiencing.”
A user's G522 has a good mic, but the mute button broke, it charges slowly and the audio sounds flat and muddy.
“I'm a laptop user looking to replace my Logitech G522 because the only thing good about it is the mic. The mute button broke on me and it charges insanely slowly now”
Has owned many headsets (BlackShark V2 Pro, HS80, Cloud 3 Wireless, Atlas Air, Delta II, BlackShark V3 X) and rates the G522's mic the best hands down, more detailed and natural, though omnidirectional so it picks up more room sound.
“When it comes to the mic, the G522 is the best one hands down.”
Returned the G522: uncomfortable and cheap-feeling apart from a really nice mic.
“So I got the g522 first but it was pretty uncomfortable and felt like a cheap headset aside from the really nice mic.”
Their new G522 is pretty good so far with exceptional battery; the detachable mic had slight buzzing on one call.
“Pretty good so far, the battery is exceptionally good lol”
Uses the G522 and only liked its microphone.
“I'm currently using the G522 and I only liked the microphone.”
