Bought the OP1 8K v2 for its GX Speed mode, but it sometimes failed to register clicks or registered a hold from a tap, as an XM2 8K had before. Switched to the Superstrike for reliability.

“Recently I was playing with op1 8k v2 and it bugged out and it did not register my click and then I tried to click again and it clicked and hold but I just tapped.”
negativequality control issues

Having tested both, prefers the OP1 8K v2 to the X2 Superstrike for its shape and lower weight, since neither has a real latency advantage.

“OP1 8k v2. Prefer the shape and lower weight of it over the Superstrike and since there is no real latency benefit to either option, the OP1 is my personal preference.”
positivelightweight

Blown away by the OP1 8k v2: fits a 17x9 cm relaxed claw, half the weight of their G502 X, with fast, tactile clicks and a great sensor.

“My OP1 8k v2 just arrived today, and I am blown away.”

Went back to wired for the OP1 8k v2 and loves it: the cable is unnoticeable, the build quality is great, and it's worth the money.

“Just received my new mouse the Op1 8k v2, went back to wired for this one and it’s amazing you don’t even feel the cable and the build quality is great.”
positivesolid build

Everything about the OP1 8k v2 felt great except that it is far too small for their hand.

“It's one of those shapes I'd love in a (way) bigger size. Everything else felt great when it arrived, just not nearly big”
mixeduncomfortable

Their wired OP1 8K v2 stutters intermittently with no fix found.

“Similar thing is happening with my (wired) OP1 8K v2. I've sercehed everywhere and found no solution”

Recommends the OP1 8k v2 from use: cheaper, no charging, performs great; narrow but very manoeuvrable once used to it.

“It’s cheaper never have to charge and performs great. The shape is gonna be narrow vs the viper and deathadder but once you get used to it it’s very maneuverable.”
positivegreat performance

A long-time collector with 21x11 cm hands finds the OP1 8K V2 lives up to the hype for its shape and performance.

“I simply wanted to test it out & see if all the positivity rings true. It does. It really does.”
positivegreat performance

Coming from the DeathAdder V3, a user finds the OP1 8K V2 has much lower physical click latency, better sensor accuracy and stability.

“it has way lower PHYSICAL click latency.”
positivegreat performance

A couple days in, a former MM712 user is adjusting to the narrower OP1 8K V2 with slight fatigue.

“Well, so I ordered the op1 and have been using it for a couple days now. I am trying to get used to it.”
mixed

A player tested the OP1 8k v2 and boxed it up, preferring the ATK F1 and Hitscan Hyperlight; nothing special and a bit narrow.

“I have OP1 8k v2 but after testing it went back to box.”
negative

The OP1 8K v2's scroll wheel died within months (skipping, not responding, scrolling the wrong way) and was refunded, though they liked its weight, shape and quietness.

“I bought an OP1 8K V2 in March, but unfortunately the mousewheel has already died. It keeps skipping, not reacting at all or scrolling into the wrong direction and cleaning did not help with this.”
negativedurability issues

Their Kovaak's scores noticeably improved on the OP1 8k v2 Raw Input edition, and they keep switching back to it from their ULX mid-game.

“I picked up the OP1 #rawinput because of the hype surrounding it. I had not played with a wired mouse in years. Call it placebo, whatever you want. But my Kovaak's scores noticeably improved after playing with the OP1.”
positivegreat performance

Owns the OP1 8k v2 and finds it great for claw grip, though too short for palm with an 18.5 cm hand.

“I have the Endgame OP1 8k v2, which is great for claw grip imo”
positive

Owned the OP1 8k v2: a good claw-grip shape for small hands.

“Op1 8k v2 dark frost it's a good claw grip shape for small hands”
positivecomfortable

Their favourite mouse; keeps going back to it from wireless mice.

“Regular op1 8k v2 is my favorite mouse. I keep trying other wireless mice and going back to the op1.”
