After reviewing the Cobra Pro, they think it's a good product, but at 77g it's oddly heavy next to the 58g wired Cobra, which makes little sense to them.
“I think the mouse is a good product, it just doesn't make sense to make a mouse that weighs 77g when the wired version weighs 58g.”
Their first Razer mouse, the Cobra Pro, developed a scroll wheel that missed steps or scrolled the wrong way after about three months, and cleaning didn't fix it, unlike their 5-year-old budget mouse.
“After ~3 months scroll started to miss scrolls or scroll in opposite directions, cleaning was not helping.”
A great mouse overall, but after 10 months of daily use their Cobra Pro's scroll wheel is starting to fail, the same issue their previous Viper 8K had.
“Great mouse, but after 10 months of daily use, mine is starting to develop the same issues”
Impressed so far with the Cobra Pro: they like how it fits in the hand and the choice of wireless or wired. Coming from a heavier mouse, 77g doesn't bother them, and there have been no durability problems.
“I do like how it fits in hand (we all have preferences), the freedom of wireless vs wired when need to.”
Came from the Viper Mini to the Cobra Pro, bought on sale. It's fine; they use it wired, and while it's heavier than the Viper Mini they don't see that as a problem.
“I just got the cobra pro, came from the viper mini. In short, the cobra pro is fine”
Their Cobra Pro has started randomly stopping mid-screen while they swipe the mouse.
“I recently encountered the following issue with my mouse that it randomly stops in the middle of my screen while swiping”
