Has been through three DeathAdder V4 Pros: the clicks stick with odd rebound, making double clicks hard, and the side buttons are terrible.

“Yep, I am having issues with the Deathadder V4 Pro as well. The clicks are AWFUL. They stick and have weird rebound and it's incredibly hard to double click on things because of how they feel.”
negativequality control issues

Owns the DeathAdder V4 Pro and Superlight 2 DEX and mains the DeathAdder; its only downside is slightly pingy clicks.

positive

Found the DeathAdder V4 Pro's sensor, skates and coating great at first, but the coating near the fingers wore down badly within days to a week.

mixeddurability issues

Among their current mains, the DeathAdder V4 Pro has the best glide and stock skates out of the box.

positive

Likes the DeathAdder V4 Pro's build quality but finds its optical clicks sound worse than those on their Viper V3 Pro.

Returned the DeathAdder V4 Pro the day after buying it because the clicks sounded and felt atrocious, despite liking its shape.

“I've bought deathadder v4 pro and returned it the next day because of how attrocious those clicks sound and feel.”
negative

After nearly a year on the DeathAdder V4 Pro, plugged in an old Superlight and found it instantly felt better than the DeathAdder ever had, despite their large hands.

“I’ve been on a Deathadder V4 Pro for nearly a year now, plugged in my old Superlight randomly the other day and it instantly felt mich netter than the DA ever did even though my hands are huge.”
negative

Their DeathAdder V4 Pro's clicks had a bad metallic ping, unlike the new Viper they just bought.

“I just got a viper v4 a few days ago and it has no ping at all. Compared to my deathadder v4 pro which was really bad in that regard.”
negativequality control issues

Returned the DeathAdder V4 Pro: compared with their V3 Pro the coating was worse, the clicks were much worse, and its low and medium lift-off settings felt the same.

“I bought the V4 pro a while ago and I ended up not liking it as much as the V3 pro”
negative

Their DeathAdder V4 Pro's scroll wheel failed after six months, after many earlier DeathAdders also broke, so they've left Razer.

“i lost my patience after my DAV3P lasted 2.5 years and i bought a DAV4P and the scroll wheel lasted 6 months”
negativedurability issues

After 15 gaming hours, they couldn't tell the DeathAdder V4 Pro's new dongle from the Viper V3 Pro's and call it a gimmick. Build is clearly better (no side flex or creaking), with better coating and scroll wheel and long battery life at 2K, but they don't think it's worth the price over the V3 Pro.

“Could I tell the difference in wireless performance between the Dav4 and the Viper V3 Pro? No, I could not”

The DeathAdder V4 Pro's shape fits them far better; the older shapes felt awful in their hand.

“Whereas for me, the DA V4 shape is a way better fit for me.”
positivecomfortable

Their DeathAdder V4 Pro has no button play, very little pre-travel, minimal post-travel and no side-to-side movement.

“I have a copy of the DAV4 Pro and a launch Viper v3 pro. Absolutely zero play”
positivesolid build

Upgraded from the wired DeathAdder V3 to the V4 Pro and likes the new clicks and feel, which made the older optical switches seem mushy.

“i actually like the new clicks and how it feels, it made me feel the mushy-ness of the gen3 opticals.”
positivegreat performance

Likes the DeathAdder V4 Pro's middle click and web-based Synapse, though the main clicks are much louder with a metallic ping they don't notice under IEMs.

“The DAV4 middle click feels really good, along with Synapse web support.”

With 18x9cm hands the DeathAdder V4 Pro is their favourite of these ergo mice; their hand never touches the pad, though they feel they lose a little control.

“18x9 hands here and my favorite is the DAV 4.”
positivecomfortable

Owns the DeathAdder V4 Pro: a terrible-sounding right click, but otherwise a very high-end ergo mouse that feels great in a relaxed palm grip, with an optical scroll encoder.

“DAv4 has a terrible sounding right click, but is otherwise a very high-end ergo mouse.”
mixedcomfortablesolid build

Of the mice they've tried, the DeathAdder V4 Pro has the best clicks, superb build quality, the tightest side buttons with almost no pre-travel, and a durable optical encoder.

“DAv4: Best clicks, those low profile switches from Razer are amazing.”

The DeathAdder V4 Pro has obnoxiously loud, pingy clicks, but is otherwise good, and finally has web drivers.

“DAv4 pro has very obnoxiously loud pingy clicks, apart from that its good.”

After 5 months, a user calls the DeathAdder V4 Pro the most comfortable mouse ever, with skates still smooth.

“I've been using the DeathAdder V4 Pro for about 5 months and, so far, it's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.”
positivecomfortablesolid build

Coming from 2 months on the Superstrike, a user finds the DeathAdder V4 Pro more comfortable with better glide.

“i feel like this fits my hand a lot better and has a more natural feeling”
positivecomfortable

A DeathAdder V4 Pro owner finds it good but can't stand its pingy primary clicks.

“The deathadder is good overall but the primary clicks make a pingy noise that I cant stand.”

A palm-gripper prefers the DeathAdder V4 Pro's shape over the Viper V4 Pro.

“if you like Palm dripping like I do then the Dav v4 is pretty good”
positivecomfortable

A player returned the DeathAdder V4 Pro mainly because of its ping-pong-ball-sounding clicks.

“Same ping pong ball sounding clicks as the deathadder v4 pro? That’s the main reason I returned it”
negative

Loving the DeathAdder V4 Pro for claw (and even fingertip) without squeezing; palm works too, with a small gap under the palm.

“So far I am loving deathadder v4 for claw grip, I don't need to squeeze my hand to claw it like my old ml903.”
positivecomfortable

Prefers their DeathAdder V4 Pro over the X2 Superstrike, especially for big hands and palm grip.

“I also have a deathadder v4 pro and I prefer it. If you have big hands and a palm grip.”
positivecomfortable

The optical scroll wheel feels fantastic compared with their old DeathAdder V3.

“I'm using the DAv4 Pro and the scroll feels fantastic compared to my old V3”
