Runs RawAccel to correct sensor tilt on their EC2-DW, which they think shouldn't be needed. The main clicks are a bit mushy with noticeable pre- and post-travel, but they still recommend it for its build and ergonomic shape.

“when i use my ec2-dw i now have rawaccel running in the background to correct the sensor tilt but 1, it shouldnt be present in the first place”

After 40+ mice, the EC2-DW is it for them: everything they wanted, a lighter EC2-CW.

“After trying 40+ different mice this is it for me.”

With 19.5x10.5cm hands, the EC2-DW felt slightly too small to grip steadily in palm grip, so they ordered the EC1-DW and aimed better with it in BF6.

“However it felt just a bit too small in my hands, I couldnt grip it well”

Owning both, they find the EC2-DW only adds 4K over the EC2-CW, with some of the worst switches on any gaming mouse; not worth $149.

“And yes, I have an EC2-CW and EC2-DW. I wouldn't recommend anyone paying $149 for one of these.”

The EC2-DW was the first mouse that actually performed well for them, better than their G Pro DEX, so they bought it again.

“I recently bought the Zowie EC2-DW and I'm waiting for a replacement because it was the first mouse that actually performed well.”
positivegreat performance

Their first true ergo, the EC2-DW, was so comfortable and well built that they enjoyed it, though they performed a bit worse in heavy tracking games.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the ec2-dw.”

After reviewing the EC2-DW, they find it peak for tac FPS, switching to fingertip mice for games like Overwatch.

“Using the EC2 for Tac FPS games is peak”

After a year and a half on the EC2-DW, arguably their best shape, they moved to the DeathAdder V4 Pro but still prefer the EC2-DW's coating and notched scroll wheel and may buy it again.

“I used to own this mouse for about a year and a half before my dog got ahold of it and destroyed it unfortunately.”
positivecomfortable

The EC2-DW's build quality is superb, with no creaking or flex compared to their Glorious Model D; the stiffer switches take getting used to, and the dock is a nice touch.

“i actually went with a ec2 dw 4k and the build quality speaks for itself.”

Having owned many mice, they find the EC2-DW the most premium: best coating, legendary shape, great stock skates and top-tier build, worth the $160.

“And I think the EC2 has to be the most premium mouse out there.”

Despite owning many mice, they still play best with EC2s including the EC2-DW, which gives their aim a stability lacking in Superlight-style mice.

“Despite all my other mice, I still play best with my ec2a/b and the ec2 DW in that order.”
positivegreat performance

The EC2-DW's lack of software is great, especially on Linux; the left click has slight side-to-side play they don't notice in game. Too happy to switch.

“Too happy with the EC2-DW to justify switching.”
positive

They like the EC2-DW a lot and its shape fits better than the DeathAdder V4 Pro, whose clicks and coating are better, but it disconnects a lot and needs replugging.

“I have this and like it a lot, but the clicks and coating is better on my deathadder v4 pro”

On the latest firmware, their new EC2-DW looked inconsistent in Mouse Tester at every setting compared to their EGG XM2w 4K.

“So I just picked up a brand new Zowie EC2-DW and did the most recent firmware update.”
negativequality control issues

After about six months, their EC2-DW matte's left button shell creaks when pressed and slid, and sometimes on normal clicks.

“I may have a similar issue with my Zowie EC2-DW matte.”
negativedurability issues

After many mice including the Xlite Crazylight and PRO X2 Superstrike, the EC2-DW is their main for palm/relaxed claw: palm support without being locked in, and a natural place for ring and pinky.

“After going through way too many gaming mice over the years, the ZOWIE EC2-DW is the one I’ve finally settled on as my main.”
positivecomfortable

Two weeks in, the EC2-DW fits like a glove: superb coating, great switches, good battery and their most consistent aim ever. Their endgame.

“With the Zowie, I just rest my palm on it and it just fits right.”
positivecomfortablegreat performance

Their best-performing CS2 mouse was the EC2-DW, but they sold it because their CS grip felt uncomfortable in other games and browsing, and now regret it.

“I really loved mine when I had it and I definitely regret selling it.”
mixedgreat performance

Liked almost everything about the EC2-DW except the clicks, which felt heavy and not spammable coming from a DeathAdder; they moved to the Vaxee E1 but miss the dock.

“I liked almost everything about the EC2 except for the clicks”

A day in, the EC2-DW's shape is beautiful and comfortable, but they hated the stock skates and ordered new ones.

“Just received my EC2 DW yesterday and after a day of use i have to say the shape is just beautiful.”
positivecomfortable

Bought a PRO X2 Superstrike as an endgame, then the EC2-DW: pinky fatigue in week one, then it became their best mouse, built like a tank, and 5–10% better in their KovaaK's scores.

“EC2-DW is also my main now.”

An owner of the EC2-DW and E1 finds both well built and premium and is currently maining the EC2-DW.

“Both feels well built and premium. I’m currently maining the EC2 right now.”
